Welcome to Lindale School and to our Early Years classroom.
We believe in child led learning and giving the children opportunity to develop their own interests whilst becoming independent active learners. Within the classroom the children are able to access a variety of resources and lead their own learning with support, modelling and teaching from the staff. We observe and interact providing learning experiences that move their knowledge and skills forward.
During the morning the Reception children are taught with the Key stage 1 class. They take part in phonics sessions, dough gym and Power of Reading. They have plenty of time during the morning to develop their own interests through the continuous provision in the indoors and outdoors.
In the afternoon the Reception and Nursery children learn and play together in a small class with lots of opportunities to play outside, bake, go on trips and much more.....
