We will have lots of fun finding out about a variety of wild animals and the continent of Africa.
The children will be using maps, atlases, globes and satellite images to find out about the continent of Africa and where in the world it is located. We will look more closely to find out about it's characteristics and geography.
Our science work this term will focus on animals. We will be finding out about different types of animals, their body parts, food they eat, their habitats and why they are adapted to them. In PE we will be working on our skills of coordination, balance, agility and control of various types of equipment.

Year 2 children had a great time doing 'Multiskills' at Cartmel Priory School. They worked really hard on balancing, throwing and catching skills, completing activities planned and led by the secondary school pupils.
