We will have lots of fun finding out about our bodies.
This is a science based topic in which children will learn about the five senses, why we need them and what they do. We will find out about our bones and how different parts of our body work. We will also discover what we and other animals need to survive and how we can keep our bodies as healthy as possible, through exercise and healthy eating.
We will look at some paper cut outs by Henri Matisse which include figures of people and will create our own, similar artwork. This term we also have the chance to take part in Ulverston Dance Platform. A local dance teacher will come into school to choreograph a dance for us to perform in February, alongside other schools doing their own dances.
