Welcome to Lindale School and to our Early Years classroom.
We believe in child led learning and giving the children opportunity to develop their own interests whilst becoming independent active learners. Within the classroom the children are able to access a variety of resources and lead their own learning with support, modelling and teaching from the staff. We observe and interact providing learning experiences that move their knowledge and skills forward.
During the morning the reception children carousel with the children in KS1. Each morning they have Read Write Inc. phonics, maths and a continuous provision session. They have plenty of time during the morning to develop their own interests through the continuous provision, exploring the indoors and outdoors.
In the afternoon the reception children are joined by the nursery children from Muddy Boots on our site. The children learn and play together in a small class with lots of opportunities to play outside, bake, go on trips and much more...
