The children really enjoyed their investigation with Mr Russell today.
Today we played some trust games to begin our topic in RE.

We had great fun this afternoon doing the first half of the mummification process on our carrot pharaohs! We will leave them for a week and see what they look like. We think they will look: brown, wrinkled, shriveled, smaller and thinner.

We have made some Egyptian pyramids.
We had a great first day back making Egyptian triaramas and stenciling.

This week, we had a Den Morning to raise money for Save the Children. We had lots of fun using boxes, sheets, rope and pegs to build our dens.

Year 5 and 6 had a great time on residential at Seathwaite last week! We did ghyll scrambling, hiking, rock climbing, bouldering, fire building, conservation work and lots more!

On Wednesday, we took part in the CPPSSA Athletics. We did some fantastic throwing, jumping and running, and we all had lots of fun! And in the end, we came third!

We designed and made rockets with Mr Russell today and then we tested them to see whose went the highest!
Year 3 and 4 had a great time on their residential! We did so many fun and adventurous things: dry ghyll scrambling, fire making, marshmallow toasting, hiking, Cautley Spout, paddled, rag rugging and went to Fairfield Mill- just to name a few!
