Our vision for our pupils begins as soon as they start school, by providing a broad, exciting curriculum where children can follow their interests, develop skills and ‘let their light shine’.
The reception and nursery children love exploring their new classroom – it’s not just a space in which to learn, but an extension of the learning itself with children building gross motor skills and inspiring curiosity.

Our outdoor area has been designed to complement the indoors, building on skills as well as introducing new ones.

We offer our pupils a wide range of activities to spark their creativity, foster curiosity and ignite a love for learning at an early age.

Early Years Curriculum
The Early Years Foundation Stage includes the Nursery and Reception years of a childs education. It is a distinct curriculum based on children developing skills, interests and positive attitudes to learning through a broad range of activities.
Learning and development in EYFS cover three prime areas, which are considered particularly important for stimulating children’s interest in learning, and in building relationships:
The three prime areas are strengthened by four specific areas of learning: literacy, mathematics, understanding of the world, and expressive arts and design. These areas are connected, with learning in one area supporting learning in the others.
To plan for successful learning, early years staff observe children to identify their interests, explore how they learn, and monitor their progress in each area of learning and development. Reflecting on these observations means we can shape learning experiences for individual children.
