In our class, we celebrate successes and mistakes as they are both important parts of learning. We know that working as a team is a vital skill and we utilise talking partners and group work in our lessons. One of the exciting things about being in year 5 and 6 is the extra responsibilities we have: anyone in the class can volunteer to be a Young Leader at break times and to have extra jobs in school. Year 6 children also help to run Collective Worship.
We love reading our class book each day; see the bottom of the page for what we are reading at the moment!
Check out the links at the bottom of our page: Times Table Rockstars has proven very effective for learning times tables (and it's fun too!) and Seesaw is the platform we are using for remote learning as well as some homework activities.
