Welcome to Year 5 and 6!

In our class, we celebrate successes and mistakes as they are both important parts of learning. We know that working as a team is a vital skill and we utilise talking partners and group work in our lessons. We have lots of opportunities to develop our leadership skills through a leadership day with our friends at Selside Primary School, extra responsibilities around school such as helping with collective worship, our residential and by gaining the Arch Bishops' Young Leaders Award. Through all of these activities and more, we are constantly working on skills like confidence, perseverance, communication and resilience which will help us with our transition to secondary school.
